But, if I’m honest, sometimes I still catch myself comparing my wings to others’! Can you relate? Read on! I was scrolling recently, and this gorgeous silver-haired model’s picture came up on my screen as it always does when I’m on @instagram . And I had the same thought as I often had every time I saw her beautiful pictures: How, in the ever loving world, is she so tiny?! I mean I USED to be that tiny before menopause! Now, not even close. Of course, I’m ashamed to admit this. I know in my heart that comparing isn’t who I am and it’s never healthy and I’m sure this gorgeous, TINY, woman has a big, beautiful heart that I would be most enamored with if I knew her!! Now, here’s the funny part ….. I posted a picture on my feed from a shoot I did last year a few weeks after this moment of comparing myself. It was definitely a big hair shot. And guess what??? She commented on the post asking, “How do you have such healthy hair??? I can’t get mine to grow past my shoulders!!” So there you have it. We all compare ourselves to others and we really owe it to ourselves and each other to fly with our own wings!
